In order to optimize Interspire Email Marketer, can one upgrade MySQL 5.5 to 5.6 or even MariaDB 10?

If you have Cpanel, there is an Interface in WHM.

If not, try the next commands:

Code: Select all: echo "[mariadb] name = MariaDB baseurl = http://yum.mariadb.org/10.0/centos6-amd64 gpgkey=https://yum.mariadb.org/RPM-GPG-KEY-MariaDB gpgcheck=1" > /etc/yum.repos.d/MariaDB.repo service mysqld stop yum remove mysql* yum install MariaDB-server MariaDB-client MariaDB-devel

( create a mysql backup first )
