I think I confused myself. The Text-Only version shows the original (non-stat) URL but the HTML version does not show the original URL and instead shows the stats-URL.
So if I own these domains, domain1.com, domain2.com, domain3.com
I can have my stats-links look like this...
<a href="http://domain1.com/Interspire Email Marketer/link.php?M=434097&N=19&L=4&F=H">
<a href="http://domain2.com/Interspire Email Marketer/link.php?M=434097&N=19&L=4&F=H">
<a href="http://domain3.com/Interspire Email Marketer/link.php?M=434097&N=19&L=4&F=H">
Instead of all of them looking like this...
<a href="http://domain.com/Interspire Email Marketer/link.php?M=434097&N=19&L=4&F=H">
Is that correct?
If so, that is a really nice feature.
My original thought was that the stats-URL stays the same but the visual URL (Visit us at
www.domain.com) would rotate.
Instead of typing out a URL as I did in the sample above, we will want to use text links so that there is no trace of the same URL in many emails. Correct?
Thanks for the help and sorry for the confusion. More details about the feature on your site will show the importance of it to others who may also be confused.
